The Pure Roller allows other products to penetrate the skin, increasing the visible results. Using Dermaquest products in conjunction with Pure Roller you will see amazing results.

So What it Dermarolling or Microneedling?

Dermarolling (Microneedling) is a process that involves using a Pure Roller with needles to puncture hundreds of tiny holes in the skin. The purpose of this process is two things:

  • The tiny pin pricks from the needles act as a collection of mini injuries – This forces your skin to kick into healing mode and stimulates collagen and elastin production. This process plumps your skin and improves the look of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and pores.
  • The tiny holes made by the needles create the perfect opening for skincare products to penetrate and absorb into the deeper layers of the skin, thus delivering more powerful results.

MicroRoller Before and After

The BIG question on everyone’s mind… Does it hurt?

The answer is NO, after your skin consultation a numbing cream is applied to your face first – This massively reduces any discomfort you may have felt.

Next, your Skincare therapist will roll the dermaroller over your face in a number of directions and sections creating tiny holes in the surface to stimulate the skin so the skin’s own regeneration process can start.

After the treatment your therapist will apply a cold compress to your skin and finish with soothing cream, hydrating serum and SPF to ensure your skin is protected. The procedure takes approx. 45 minutes.

The beauty about Dermarolling is you can get results as good as a Chemical Peel but WITHOUT the downtime!

Your face will feel warm and tight after your treatment and will stay red for 2-3hrs- (In some cases redness may last up to 48hrs after treatment). After 4-7 days you’ll start to see the difference and after a few weeks you’ll really see the benefits of Dermarolling.

A course of treatments is recommended for the best results – For optimum results we recommend 3 treatments 4 weeks apart.

Please note you will need to prepare your skin prior to treatment – Book a skin consultation to discuss further and find out more information.
